Procedure for Submission of On-line Application Form:
Applicants must submit their “On-line Application Form” by the deadline specified in the advertisement. They should fill out the form carefully, following the instructions and guidelines provided. Medical Fitness Certificate:
The Medical Certificate issued by the Medical Superintendent of the District Head Quarters Hospital or Services Hospital in Lahore will be considered valid under the regulations and policy decisions. However, the certificate must be issued within three months prior to the closing date of the job advertisement and the candidate must meet all of the physical standards required for the position they are applying for. Certificates issued after the closing date for online applications will not be accepted.
Reckoning of Age:
When determining age for recruitment based on a written examination, the candidate’s age will be calculated as of the first of January of the year in which the examination is scheduled to take place. In all other cases, age will be determined as of the closing date for receipt of applications.
If a candidate is under the minimum age or over the maximum age, even by one day, when calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications or on January 1st of the year of the combined/competitive examination as advertised, they will be deemed ineligible. This rule is in place because a child born on January 1st will be one year old on December 31st of the same year, and on January 1st of the next year, they will be one year and one day old.
Applicants may be eligible for a relaxation of the upper age limit as per the Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976.
Departmental Permission Certificate: Government employees must provide a Departmental Permission Certificate, which is available on the Punjab Public Service Commission’s website and must be signed and stamped by the appropriate authority of their department, in order to be considered for an interview.
Written Test and Interviews:
Provisional admission to written exams or tests will be granted to candidates. The applications and documents of those who pass written exams or tests will be thoroughly examined during the interview process. If any candidate is found to be ineligible under the rules, their candidature will be cancelled, regardless of their performance in the written exams or tests.
Provisional call for interviews will be made to candidates. If any candidate is found to be ineligible in any respect under the rules during the detailed scrutiny of their applications and documents on the day of the interview, their candidature will be rejected.
To ensure that the process runs smoothly, applicants are encouraged to confirm that they meet all the qualifications and requirements for the position before the deadline for submitting their applications. This will help prevent disappointment and ensure that their application is considered for the role.
Short listing of the candidates for interview will be done on the basis of:
- Academic record of the Candidates; or
- Marks secured in the Written Test conducted by the Commission; or
- By both of the above.
Interview Call-up Letter:
The following actions will be taken:
- The schedule for interviews for the specified positions will be posted on the PPSC website.
- Candidates can download their call-up letter and information about the date, time, and location of the interview from the PPSC website.
- Communication with candidates will be done electronically through SMS, email, and the website. Individual notifications for the interview date will not be sent.
- Candidates are encouraged to frequently check the PPSC website for updates and information regarding their specific case number.
- If required, candidates may send copies of necessary documents via courier or registered mail to the Secretary of PPSC at LDA Plaza, Edgerton Road, Near Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Lahore.
